Location The Isle of Mull is the second largest of the Hebrides, lying just off the west coast of Scotland and is easily accessible from central Scotland. The ferry crossing from Oban which is 2.5 to 3 hours by road from both Edinburgh and Glasgow is 40 minutes to Craignure on Mull. The cottage is a 40 minute drive away from the ferry terminal at Craignure. From Craignure ferry port, head for Salen and Tobermory. Two miles after Salen on the road to Tobermory, just before the bridge, turn off to the left and follow the road signposted to Dervaig and 'Calgary Art in Nature'. This is the 'Glen Road' On arrival at the village of Dervaig, Half Moon House is just by the 'DERVAIG' village sign, set up on the right hand side of the road. This very comfortable, modern house and is only 300 metres from the Bellachroy Hotel, 400 metres from the local shop/post office, and 200 metres from Loch a' Chumhainn, an inlet from the Atlantic Ocean.
